Silas John Fore
Silas John Fore, born May 28, 2011, went to be with Jesus on June 7, 2021. There was never a 10 year old who loved better than he did. He loved life deeply — every part of it. Being active, playing hard, working hard, and loving the hardest. Silas gave the best hugs. Some of his favorite things were reading, baseball and sports, driving tractors, imagining, being goofy, fishing, and especially doing all the parts of life with his siblings, parents, and special people — with the happiest light shining out of him. He knew Jesus at a young age and his faith and love for God was evident every single day in his oh-so-tender and joyful heart. Silas’ faith has now been made sight.
He is survived by his parents, Davey and Katie Fore; his five siblings, Caden, Naomi, Kuyper, Paisley, and Sadie Fore; his Grandparents, Dave and Tonya Fore and John and Cheri Kresge; his Great Grandparents, Annette Fore, Gene Weaber, and Helen Kresge. Also his aunts, uncles, and cousins: Tysha and Elizandro Garcia (Arianna), Renee and Mark Fortner (Keziah, Maris, and Siana), Julie Kresge, Brad and Grace Kresge (Nora, Maya, Lydia and Ezekiel), Keith and Mackenzie Kresge (Stella and Wendy), Scott and Kayleigh Kresge (Stanley), Ellen Kresge, and Ben Kresge. And this is only the beginning of those who love and miss him.
A Celebration of Silas’ life will be held at First Baptist Church, 512 S. US 27 (Whittemore Street), St. Johns, on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held at the church from 12 PM until the time of the service. A private graveside ceremony will follow at Payne Cemetery.
