Duplain Church of Christ is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, July 1 from 12 – 5:45 p.m.

New Brown Bag Concert Series begins July 9
A new concert series will be presented in downtown St. Johns beginning on July 9 and extending to August 27. The concerts will take place in the Rotary Park Pavilion next to the Railway Depot.
This noon special “Brown Bag Concert Series” will be held on 8 consecutive Fridays in July and August with each concert lasting an hour in length.
Several downtown food establishments will be offering luncheon specials for people to pick up and take down to the concerts. This concert series will include some Grammy Award winning musicians.

2nd annual Fall FEASTival is September 18

This event is organized by the Eat Healthy Eat Local Foundation, and all proceeds and donated into a grant to open an organic grocery store / year-round farmer’s market here in St. Johns.
SJHS Auto Show is July 17
The date set for the St. Johns Auto Program 50th Anniversary Celebration is July 17.
They will be working on getting all the cool stuff they had scheduled before we had to reschedule due to the pandemic. They also expect to have Rhino Dyno coming, so get those engines tuned up for a good time.
Free meals every Tuesday
His Cup Runneth Over, a free meal ministry, will be doing free meals every Tuesday starting Tuesday.
Free meals will be given out from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 100 Maple Ave., St. Johns. They will be located in the back southwest corner of the parking lot.
Everyone is welcome to come, and it is free for all who come. For those unable to pick up lunch, please call to arrange for delivery by Monday.

Pride Chalk Art with SJ Call-In Coalition is Wednesday, June 23
Join to create positive chalk art on the sidewalks in downtown St. Johns.
In celebration of pride month the SJ Call-In Coalition is partnering with local businesses and community members to create rainbow walkways and positive messages.
They hope to create some art and relationships and empower each other. Let’s foster and celebrate diversity.
There will be music brought to you by Cochran Entertainment. All ages are welcome and the event is Family Friendly.
***Children require their own adult supervision, of course, but they can be sure to join in on the fun. Teens and Adults, they need your skill level.

Local student named to Dean’s List
Bath native Elizabeth Remer named to Marquette University’s spring 2021 Dean’s List
Elizabeth Remer of Bath, MI has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Remer is pursuing a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
To make the Dean’s List, students must have earned at least 12 credits for the spring 2021 semester and have no disqualifying grades. The GPA threshold varies by college – for the College of Education and the Klingler College of Arts and Sciences, undergraduate students must have at least a 3.7 to be named to the Dean’s List.
The undergraduate GPA requirement is 3.5 for the following colleges: the Diederich College of Communication, the College of Business Administration, the College of Health Sciences, the Opus College of Engineering and the College of Nursing. All other programs have a 3.75 GPA minimum.
