Jacqueline Patricia Plowman
Jacqueline “Jackie” Patricia Plowman, age 77, of St. Johns died on June 22, 2022 at Sparrow Hospital.
Jackie was born on January 8, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, the first of seven children born to John and Dorice (Evans) Buckley. Jackie adored her family and loved reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jackie will be missed by many, especially by her husband, Larry Plowman; her children, Daniel (Colleen) Plowman, Terry Plowman and Jennifer Richards; grandchildren, Theodore Richards, Jeremy Plowman, Elena Richards-Tate, Christian Plowman, Jocelyn Plowman, Colin Plowman; great-grandson, Jackson Wilson; siblings, Sandra Marsh, Michael Buckley, Martin Buckley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Randy Buckley, Scott Buckley and Lloyd Buckley.
A Funeral Service will be held at McGeehan Funeral Home, Keck-Coleman Chapel, 1500 Waterford Pkwy, St. Johns on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11 AM. Pastor Andy Croel officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Debra Sue Sturk
Debra Sue Sturk, age 63, of Fowler, MI, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI
Debra was born in Fowler, MI on June 16, 1958, the daughter of George Joseph and Joan M. (Stump) Koenigsknecht. She graduated from Fowler High School. Deb was a home hospice aide for many years. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter Audra Sturk (Jordan), one son Jay Sturk, her fiancé Andy Clark, and her siblings: George Koenigsknecht, Kathy and Rick Coletta, Lois and Tim Bengal, Luke and Sue Koenigsknecht, Ruth and Glenn Thelen and Diane and John Beck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homess – Goerge Chapel, Fowler, Michigan.
Lee Ann Dietz
Lee Ann Dietz, age 83 St. Johns, MI, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes – Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Burial will take place at South Bingham Township Cemetery. St. Johns, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
Lee Ann was born in St. Johns, Michigan on October 21, 1938, the daughter of Erwin Fredrick and Jewel F. (Reed) Rossow. She graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School, St. Johns, Michigan with the class of 1957. On January 27, 1962 she married Gerald Dietz at Bingham EUB Church, St. Johns, Michigan.
Lee Ann retired as a bus driver for St. Johns Public Schools after 30 years of service. She enjoyed camping and enjoyed fishing. She was a fan of the MSU Spartans. Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions. She was a faithful TV watcher of the Young and the Restless. Wintering in Florida was a real enjoyment of hers.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Dietz; daughter Christine and Mark York; son Daniel Dietz; two grandchildren: Parker York and Liam York; and her sister, Jenine Kloeckner. She was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law, Leroy.

Bonnie D. Wickerham
Bonnie D. Wickerham, age 97 of St. Johns, started the newest chapter of her life on June 19, 2022.
She was born on February 18, 1925 in Clinton County, daughter of William C and Mabel D (Hamer) Westmoreland. She married Alferd A Wickerham on Friday, April 13, 1945 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She spent the first part of her married life in Chicago where Al was stationed and loved life in the Big City.
She worked several places during her life but found her job as Clinton County Register of Deeds the one she loved. She retired in 1990. She always had a smile and loved writing letters to friends and family, but she was famous for her sugar and gingerbread cookies.
She is survived by daughter, Susan Blizzard, St. Johns, son, Roger and Barbara Wickerham, Charlotte, and grandchildren Michael (Rebecca Kemp) Blizzard, Gregory and Summer Blizzard, Lisa and Terrance Powell II, Amanda (Josh Allen) Wickerham, Roxanne and Lucas Merrick and Gustav and Melissa Ramirez. She is also survived by great grandchildren: Ryan Wheeler, Nichole Carlson, Corina and Alex Vela, Colton, Olivia (Keegan Fulton) and Dillon Powell, Logan and Anthony (Kristina Nalett) Blizzard, Caitlyn, Cecilia and Samara Merrick, Emma, Carter, Bentley and Roman Ramirez and great great grandchildren: Benjamin and Rori Blizzard and Kyla Powell-Fulton. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Alferd A Wickerham in 2003 and son-in-law Bruce L Blizzard in 1992.
A Funeral Service will be held at McGeehan Funeral Home, Keck-Coleman Chapel, 1500 Waterford Parkway, St. Johns, on Friday, June 24, at 11 AM with the Rev. Dr. Rodney Kalejainen officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23 from 4-8 PM. Contributions may be made to Two or More Christian Church of St. Johns or to the charity of your choice.
Karl Edward Buslepp
Karl Edward Buslepp, age 64, of St. Johns, Michigan, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at his home with his wife and caregiver at his side.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Karl was born in Jackson, Michigan on December 5, 1957, the son of Robert Charles and Barbara Ellen (Hart)Buslepp. Karl graduated from Jackson High School in the class of 1976. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from his beloved Michigan State University in 1983 and has been a devoted MSU fan ever since.
On July 9, 1982 Karl married Natalie Marie Wilkins at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, Jackson, Michigan. They were blessed with 39 years of marriage. He was Senior Account representative with Ameritech for many years until 2004 when his illness forced him to stay home. Karl was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church St. Johns, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Natalie and all their dear friends including those they met in Canada at the Toga Party in Brights Grove, ON in 1999.

Janet Sipkovsky
Janet Sipkovsky died on Thursday, June 16, 2022 after complications from surgery. She was 77 years old.
Janet was born on March 5, 1945 to Frank and Maxine (Amspoker) Sipkovsky in St. Johns, Michigan where she resided all her life. Janet was a 1963 graduate of St. Johns High School and became “a Spartan” at Michigan State University, graduating in 1967. Janet taught at St. Joseph Catholic School for forty years and was known as Ms. Jan by her students. “Teaching was a joy” and offered her the opportunity to do what she loved. She also thoroughly enjoyed working with her sister, Carol, in the Carol Ann Shop through the years.
Janet was a trustee for Hazel I. Findlay Manor and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and grief minister for some time.
Janet was proud of her great nieces, Sam, Sydney and Bailey and all their accomplishments.
She is survived by her sister, Carol (Roger) Keys; two nieces, Stephanie (Randy) Padgett and Kim (Rick) Kellogg; three great-nieces, Samantha Kellogg, Sydney and Bailey Padgett; and many close teaching friends from over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 Linden Street, St. Johns on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11 AM. The ceremony will be livestreamed on the church YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6l1mHhn4KfJ3H0XuIPA-BQ
Burial will follow at Mount Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at McGeehan Funeral Home, Keck-Coleman Chapel, 1500 Waterford Pkwy, St. Johns on Sunday, June 19 from 2-4 PM and on Monday, June 20 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with a Vigil Service at 7 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Joseph Catholic School or Briggs Public Library.
