Iler statue dedicated in Lansing
The beautiful large Mother Tree Statue designed by local artist Ivan Iler was unveiled on Thursday, August 10. The Art Celebration took place at Hunter Park in Lansing.
Speakers for the event included Emcee Ethan Schmitt, Mayor Andy Schor, Councilmember Ryan Kost, Yasmina Bouraoui, Joe Enerson and Ivan Iler.
“Create what you see in your own mind. Don’t allow your work to be changed, judged, or distorted by others. Who you are is a gift to this world that can only be given by you. Love yourself more than anyone else ever could,” said Iler. “If you can truly do that, know that, and understand it fully… nothing can ever stop you from being who you always were and always will be.”
