Local Habitat merges with Capital Region

Clinton-Gratiot Habitat for Humanity and Habitat Capital Region are proud to announce their strategic merger to serve Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties.

Beginning in September this merging created one organization, Habitat for Humanity Capital Region, that will serve a 1,700 square mile, three county area with a mission to impact more families through our Home ownership, Repair and Ramp Programs.

“Serving the entire tri-county area is a tremendous opportunity to grow the indelible mark we make on the Capital Region,” said Brent Taylor, Habitat Capital Region President & CEO.

As a result of the expansion, Habitat Capital Region will now serve a 1,700 square mile, three-county area with a mission to impact more families through their Homeownership, Repair, and Ramp programs.

The ReStore in St. Johns will continue to operate. Proceeds will continue to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission in the Capital Region.

Your volunteerism, financial gifts, and advocacy will mean more than ever as they strive to serve more neighbors in more communities than ever before, and to do so with the same care, respect and compassion that are the hallmarks of what they do.

The Administrative Office will be located in Lansing at 1941 Benjamin Drive.
