Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers
The Tri-County Office on Aging (TCOA) Meals on Wheels program is seeing continued growth in requests for home delivered meals across Clinton County. Volunteers are needed for all areas, especially in Maple Rapids and Westphalia.
This program delivers hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday around mid-day, usually between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each route takes about an hour and volunteer schedules can be set up to work with individual needs.
Volunteers can deliver one or more times each month and pick up locations are generally in the vicinity of the local route. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have a car, a valid driver’s license and good references. Training is provided, and mileage reimbursement is available.
For more information or to volunteer please call the Clinton County Meals on Wheels office at 989-224-3600 or 1-888-224-3030.
