Anxiously awaiting for this day, I visited the Historic Car tour with their stop in St. Johns on their way to Cheboygan. Now we’ve got the real deal from our cars from the past in my era.
Wow, what a lot of memories this was, remembering friends that owned or used their dad’s car.
I came upon a white ’59 Ford Fairlane; and this was my second car back in 1960, my first being an aqua 2 door stick shift that was a 1954 Ford. Wish I still had it.
A large assortment of vehicles were on display with any color, shape and make that you remember. A large crowd was on hand for the event. Some owners even had their pets on board with them and all was calm.
A big thank you to that group for sharing the tour with St. Johns and all the memories that were brought back from the “good old days” to us.
