At Community Christian Church
The public is invited to join with Community Christian Church, 400 E. State Street (M-21) in St. Johns, for their free Vacation Bible School to be held Sunday through Thursday, June 27-July 1, 2010 from 6:00-8:40 p.m. The church’s V.B.S. is for children pre-K through 5th grade.
This year’s theme is “Hero Headquarters.” Each night students will learn about ordinary people in the Bible who became heroes in the eyes of God. Each night students will have the opportunity to make craft projects that will tie into the lesson, as well as play games and enjoy a tasty snack. Each night will begin and end with a visit from an unknown superhero.
During the week students will be raising money for Rock Lake Christian Assembly in Vestaburg, Michigan. RLCA is a non-denominational Christian camp that ministers to children of all ages through their summer camping programs. Students will be challenged to step up and help others in need during our week of VBS.
