If you are a woman, have a set of golf clubs and a computer, you have all the tools needed to participate in this year’s “Chicks for Charity” golf outing. The third annual event, set for Friday June 25 at the Emerald, is a woman only charitable get-together in support of the Auxiliary of Sparrow Clinton Hospital.
The day’s activities begin with an 8 a.m. check-in followed by breakfast and a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Lunch at the turn and an after golf deli-buffet will be followed by prizes and a 50-50 drawing and raffle. Registration is $280 per four-person team or $70.00 for singles wishing team assignment.
Team and individual registration can be accomplished by getting on line and logging onto http://www.clintonmemorial.org. Upon reaching the site, look for the link CMH Chick for Charity where the registration form will be found. Download and print the form for completion and mail to Clinton Memorial Auxiliary, 805 S. Oakland, St. Johns, MI 48879. Please include a check for the appropriate amount.

While Chita Perez, left, and Jeanette Huard appear overwhelmed with the shouting, Robin Motz Ingals issues a call for all women golfers to register for the third annual Chicks for Charity outing.
