Concert in the Park
Warm, wonderful and totally talented – that’s the magic of singer/songwriter, Kitty Donohoe.
The award-winning musician brings her rich, musical style to the St. Johns City Park Performance Shell June 30 in the weekly Concert in the Park series. Show time is 7 p.m. at the beautiful outdoor venue; no admission charge.
Appreciative fans can expect to hear selections from Donohoe’s CDs, including Northern Voices and This Road Tonight, that are filled with songs about life and love and allow her Irish and American heritage to shine through. Donohoe’s expertise on guitar, cittern, keyboard – and some unique Celtic instruments – will also delight listeners.
Multi-instrumentalist, David Mosher, will join Donohoe on stage, performing music of the U.S. and British Isles – a forte of the duo known as Eire America.
The Saint Johns MINT is underwriting the June 30 concert. The restaurant, nightclub and hotel is located in downtown St. Johns.
Concert in the Park is sponsored by the Clinton County Arts Council and the city of St. Johns, with support from the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
