Calling all Idol wanna-bes.
The application deadline is fast approaching for talented singers and musicians to register for Clinton County Idol 2010.
Clinton County residents aged 12 and older are invited to test their singing skills at the Third Annual Clinton County Idol contest set for July 27 and 28 at the St. Johns City Park Performance Shell. Performances begin each night at 7 p.m.
Based on the popular American Idol television show, Clinton County Idol begins July 27 with a preliminary round that will be judged by a trio of adjudicators. The top performers return the following evening for the “big show” where the audience votes to select the 2010 winner who will receive $200, time in a recording studio and an appearance at the St. Johns Mint Festival.
The CC Idol registration deadline is July 23.
