Fall Fundraiser and more
Join us for our Fall Fundraising Event featuring Linda Hundt owner of Sweetie-licious Bakery Café on Friday, September 10th at 6:30pm here in the library. Linda will talk on how she got into the pie making business, the National awards won, her Rolling Pin collection and more. The cost is $10 per person with tickets available from staff at the Circulation desk or at the door the night of the event. Linda’s award winning pies will be available to buy whole or by the slice at the fundraiser. Proceeds will be used for the purchase of Library materials.

Book Donations
Thank you to all the individuals who supported the Library by helping at the Friends of the Library book sale during Mint Festival or by purchasing used books. For a number of years now the Library and Friends Group have accepted donations of used books in order to raise funds to support the Library or enhance the Library’s collection. Donations need to be in good to like new condition and be bagged or boxed. The Library is happy to provide a receipt for tax purposes provided the items are pre-counted by type. For example: 10 hardcover, 5 paperback, 2 DVDs. The Library does not accept encyclopedias, readers digest condensed books, textbooks and items that are in poor condition, moldy, musty, water damaged etc. These items can not be added to the Library collection and do not sell well at the book sales. Again, thank you to all those who help make the book sales a success either through your donations of materials, money or time. It is greatly appreciated.
Library Closure
The Library will also be closed Saturday September 4th and Monday September 6th for the Labor Day Holiday. The book drop will be open for returns during these closures.
