As September heralds the autumn season, members of Clinton County Arts Council will be adding to the fall excitement with two initial events that may well become regular features on the yearly calendar. The first will occur in September – a unique C.A.T Sale – followed by an October event featuring a silent auction and other activities still under the planning wraps.
According to Council Director Mike Muehlenbeck, the C.A.T Sale, initials for Collectibles, Antiques and Treasures, is set for Friday and Saturday September 17 and 18 at the Clinton Northern Railway Depot on Railroad St. in St. Johns. The hours will extend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and selected items from the Gallery inventory will be offered to the public at generous prices – perfect timing to prepare for the up-coming gifting season.
Persons interested in volunteering to assist in the sale or for details of the event may call the Clinton County Arts Council Gallery at 989 224-2429.
