Owner/operator, Robert Prowant, is captured in this photo serving coffee to his customers at the L&L Restaurant located on the 300 block of N. Clinton Ave. on the east side.
Bob owned this popular eatery from 1955 to 1972.
This photo of Bob was taken when he was a press operator at Federal-Mogul. This was just before he quit and went into the restaurant business for himself.
Bob was business minded and owned a number of businesses after leaving Federal-Mogul.
Bob passed away last week.
