Bill Lewis was hired by Federal-Mogul on January 2, 1979. At the time this photo was taken he worked on the Jumbo Slitter.
Federal-Mogul used to spend more money getting steel strip in various sizes until they purchase the Jumbo Slitter and the Sizing Mill. Then they could get all the sizes they needed, in house, and at quite a savings.
