Students at St. Joseph School in St. Johns recalled the story of the birth of Jesus with singing and dancing at their annual Christmas musical show on December 16th.
Every year, a baby from a local family gets to play the part of the newborn Jesus. This year, two babies had that honor as one of them appeared in the afternoon show and the other one was in the evening show.
Always a popular event among the students’ family, friends and others within the St. Johns community, the church was filled to capacity for both programs.
Music directors Nancy Poff and Dorella Page-Hunter were thanked and complimented by representatives of the St. Joseph School Parent-School Council for preparing the children well for the show despite the two school days that were lost that week because of inclement weather.
