For the New Year
“It was a remarkable holiday period!”
That’s how Mike Muehlenbeck, Clinton County Arts Council director, described events, activities and sales at the council’s Gallery during the holiday period. “Thanks to our many volunteers who help staff the Gallery, we had, perhaps, our best ever Thanksgiving to Christmas run,” he said. “So we’re starting the new year with a little slower pace.”

The mention of slower pace referred to special hours being set for the first two months of 2011. During January and February, the Gallery will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday hours will be 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday the Gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Muehlenbeck went on to explain that while the hours may suggest a slower pace, they are not dissimilar from previous years.
But what is different from earlier years was the holiday period. “It truly was an exceptional time,” he commented, “and on behalf of the board – and personally – I extend a word of thanks to all who shared the time by attending an event or completing a purchase. We look forward to an exciting 2011 year.”
The Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. and can be reach during business hours at 989 224-2429.
