How many times a day do you go somewhere? Go to work? Go to school? Go to the grocery store? Go to sleep? We are always on a journey somewhere, every step of our day.
In all that busy movement from place to place, we can easily forget that we are on a faith journey. For some the journey is an easy one. For others there may be times they feel lost or as if they are retreating. For still others, they may not even recognize or feel as if they are on a journey, they may feel like they are standing still.
For the weekend of February 19-20, we invite you to join us as we explore the way we grow and journey in our faith. There will be times of reflection, sharing, silence, and, hopefully, ideas and materials you can take home to help you in your journey.
This retreat will be a chance to explore some of those themes. It is also a great opportunity to get away from the routine of life to deepen your faith . You will also have ample time to enjoy the wonderful grounds, the snow tube hill, the indoor pool AND hot tub, and open gym. On Saturday we will have Mass in the evening.
The details
The cost of the retreat is $67.00 per person. Each married couple will have their own room. Those who are single will be in rooms of 3-5 (varies based on registrations, room set up, and timeliness of registrations).
The deadline to register is Wednesday, February 9, 2011.
Included in the fee is your lodging, food (lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday), access to recreational facilities, and all retreat materials. You can hike, swim, enjoy the weather (hopefully), snowtube, or just relax during free time.
The retreat is at FaHoLo Camp and Conference Center.
We will meet early Saturday morning in the St. Joe parking lot for those who are interested in car pooling. We will conclude by 11:30 am on Sunday morning.
You can register online below or print out the brochure and return to Kimberly at the St. Joe parish office. Registrations and Payments must be received by February 9.
