Have you ever wondered where an owl sleeps during the daytime or how they fly silently to sneak up on their prey? Well this is your chance to find out.
Come join us at Woldumar Nature Center for Owl Prowl 2011.
Starting at 5pm we will be providing crafts and owl pellet dissections for kids on the first floor of the barn.
Then Wildside Rehabilitation and Education Center will be conducting a LIVE owl presentation at 6pm featuring some of Michigan’s elusive feathered natives. We will then continue the evening with a guided moonlit hike in search of some of these beautiful nocturnal creatures.
So come with us and explore the lives of some of nature’s most secretive and mysterious animals; it will be a hoot!
