The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
The 5 week Zumba sessions will be held at the Gateway North Elementary School Cafeteria (April 12, 26, June 9, 14, 16 and 21 will be at St. Joseph Gym or Cafeteria) from 7:00 – 7:45 p.m. There is no class on Tuesday, May 31, 2011

Summer Session I-A: Tuesdays, May 19, 24, June 7, 14 and 21, 2011

Cost for a Zumba session is $20 per five-week session per person for City Residents and $25 for non-City Residents. Receive $5 off your total registration if you sign up for all four Spring Sessions at once. You can also drop in each night and pay $5 as a city resident or $6 as a non-city resident. Drop-ins are allowed only if space permits. Most sessions have been filling up so it is highly recommended that you pre-register with the city offices before the first day of class.
Boot camp alternates strength training exercises with aerobic activities to give you two workouts in one. Increase your strength, endurance and tone up with Boot Camp. Classes combine intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning exercises to provide you with the ultimate circuit workout. Some exercises include, pushups, lunges, work with medicine balls and bands. Expect the unexpected in these full-body Boot Camp classes, which are always challenging and fun.
