Carson City Hospital’s family physician offices
Family physician Novak Despotovic, M.D., Ph.D., has served patients at both Carson Family Care Center and Greenville Family Care Center for the past 17 years. As a specialist in allergy and immunology, many patients from both the Carson City and Greenville areas know him for his expertise in treating allergies and asthma.
Dr. Despotovic is a graduate of the University of Belgrade in Yugoslavia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Zvezdara University Medical Center and his residency in allergy and immunology at Medical School Belgrade. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Association of Physician Specialists.
To honor and celebrate his many years of providing excellent health care to the community, the public is invited to a special retirement reception for Dr. Despotovic on Thursday, April 28, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Carson Family Care Center office. The office is located at 102 S. Third St., Ste. 100, in Carson City. Light refreshments will be provided.
“We hope to see many of Dr. Despotovic’s past and present patients of all ages attend this special reception, and wish him a pleasant and relaxing retirement,” said Natalie Buslepp, Carson City Hospital’s Medical Services Group Director. “He’s been an excellent resource for the primary care providers in our area and a great colleague to many within the medical community. Our hospital staff will miss his expertise just as much as the community will miss him.”
