SCH Foundation offers free estate planning

Exploring the maze of opportunities available to prepare for the future and protect your family’s valuable assets can be challenging.
To help make sense of all those opportunities, Sparrow Clinton Hospital Foundation hosts an Estate Planning Seminar on Thursday, April 28. The seminar takes place from 6:30 to 9:15 pm at the Clinton Commons Community Room, 1105 S. Scott Road in St. Johns.
Designed to be informative, entertaining and easy to understand, this free public seminar features presentations by a panel of legal, insurance, real estate, banking and financial professionals.
Those panelists are John Wieber – Attorney; Matthew Cooper – CPA; Chris Briggs and Andrew Semrau – Insurance and Investments; Laura Mullaney – Real Estate; Deb Nicolay – Trusts; and Pete Shannon – Charitable Giving.
Special Guest Speaker is Doug Chalgian, one of the top Elder Law attorneys in Michigan and author of the leading source of Medicaid Planning in Michigan. He currently serves as Chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Michigan State Bar.
