POTS buttons are available

What’s looks like seashells and produces musical cash?
The 2011 Patrons of the Shell buttons, of course.
Profits from the sale of POTS buttons help fund the weekly Concert in the Park music series at the St. Johns City Park Performance Shell.

“The sale of these buttons is an important funding source for the concert series,” says Performance Shell Committee chairperson Bill Tennant.
Local artist and St. Johns High School alumna, Kallie Sternburgh, designed this year’s button. She is currently working in Denmark.
Buttons are available at each Wednesday evening concert, June 15 through Aug. 31, and at the Clinton County Arts Council’s Gallery at 215 N. Clinton Ave., in downtown St. Johns.
Patrons receive a pair of buttons for each $50 donation; donations are tax deductible.
In addition, patrons who wear POTS buttons while dining at the St. Johns Big Boy Restaurant on Wednesdays during the concert season will receive 10 percent off the total cost of their bill.
“The Shell Committee hopes to see a lot of the 2011 buttons worn around town on Wednesdays throughout the summer,” Tennant says.
