Carson City-Crystal Area Schools Foundation
The Carson City-Crystal Area Schools Foundation (CCCASF) is sponsoring its 5th annual Golf Outing on Friday, Aug. 12, with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. and a shot-gun start at 9 a.m.
The event will take place at Huckleberry Creek Golf Course, 2900 N. Hubbardston Rd., in Pewamo. The $50 registration per person includes a continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf with a cart, and lunch provided by Up In Smoke BBQ of Crystal and Muffin Top of Carson City. There will also be a $100 first-place prize awarded to the all-men, all-women, and mixed-couple teams.
Registration is due by Aug. 5. To sign up as an individual are as part of a team of four, call Paula Tabor at 989-584-3175 or 989-763-3757. Please make checks payable to “CCCAS Foundation.” Hole sponsorships ranging from $100 to $500 and beyond are also available by contacting Tabor. Donated door prizes are also welcome.
The CCASF exists to give back to the school through scholarships, student financial assistance, purchasing educational supplies and assisting with facility enhancements at Carson City-Crystal Area Schools. Since the organization’s inception in 2006, more than $75,000 has been raised through various fundraising projects, bequests and donations.
