The Sturgeon Point Lighthouse is located south of Alpena and a little north and east of Harrisville, just off US-23. Follow the signs to the lighthouse complex that features an old schoolhouse, lighthouse and outdoor exhibits. The buildings are open during the day in the summer, and visitors can climb the lighthouse tower on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
