CCFCU donates $500 to Habitat for Humanity

In July, 2011 Clinton County Federal Credit Union presented Habitat for Humanity with a check for $500 to support the organization’s current project in Ovid. CCFCU has made similar donations to Habitat for Humanity in years past and actively gives back to other local charities every month.
Every Friday, the staff at Clinton County FCU is allowed to Dress Down for a Cause. Staff members are allowed to participate in dress down days by contributing to a fund for that month’s charity. During the month of July, CCFCU is donating their dress down dollars to the American Red Cross. Other charities that donations have been made to include the Michigan Special Olympics, Children’s Miracle Network, Breast Cancer Awareness, and more.
Another way that CCFCU has made donations to local charities is through their Facebook page. During select months, the Credit Union will donate an additional $1 per new “Like” they receive on their Facebook page. Past charities who have been recipients of this additional donation include CMN and Breast Cancer Awareness.
Clinton County FCU is proud to support local charities and give back to the community.
