The City of St. Johns is now taking registrations for the following youth and adult programs.
Dinosaur Adventure
Due to popular demand the City of St. Johns Recreation Department is adding a second Dinosaur Adventure camp. The camp will run August 1- August 4 from 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm and take place at the Main Pavilion in the City Park. Cost for the class is $18 for City of St. Johns residents and $24 for non City Residents. The camp will take kids back to the time when Dinosaurs ruled the earth. Kids will learn about the different species of Dinosaurs while participating in crafts, games and activities. The last day will include a dinosaur dig.
Adult Zumba
The City is offering a five-week Zumba class. The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
The five week class will take place on Thursday evenings starting July 21 and running through August 18th. Class takes place at the Performance Shell in the City Park from 6:45 – 7:30.
Mint Festival
Softball Tournament
Registrations are being accepted for the St. Johns Mint Festival men and women’s softball tournaments. Deadline to register with $185 tournament fee is August 3rd or until full. After the deadline, if there are spots available, add $25. Tournament takes place August 12-14.
Kickball Tournament
Registrations are being accepted for the St. Johns Mint Festival kickball tournament. Deadline to register with $125 tournament fee is August 3rd or until full. After the deadline, if there are spots available, add $25 Tournament takes place August 12-14. Space is limited.
Fall Adult Recreation Leagues
Flag Football League
The City of St. Johns Recreation Department is accepting registrations for its Men’s 6 on 6 flag football league. The seven-week league plays on Wednesday nights starting August 29th. Registration deadline is August 17th or until full.
Fall Softball Leagues
The City of St. Johns Recreation Department is accepting registrations for its Co-ed and Men’s softball leagues. The Men’s league plays on Tuesday nights and the Co-ed League plays on Thursday nights. Registration deadline is August 17th or until full. The six-game season will begin the week of August 29th.
