Toddler Story-time Join our ABC Parade! Children ages 2 and 3 years old with an adult are invited to enjoy stories, music, creative movement and crafts. Your choice of times and dates are: Wednesday mornings, 10-10:30 or 11-11:30, September 7th thru October 12th or Thursday evenings, 6:30 -7, September 1st thru October 6th. Registration is required and begins Wednesday, August 10th.
Lapsit Story-time
Sounds Like … Fun! Babies 12 to 24 months old with an adult are welcome to get together for a fun time of listening to age appropriate books, moving to music, playing and meeting new friends. Mark your calendar for Friday mornings, 10-10:30, September 9th thru October 14th or Monday evenings 6:30-7, September 12th thru October 17th. Registration is required and begins Friday, August 12th.
Chapter Chatter Program
There is still time to register for the Chapter Chatter Storytime (ages 6-8) on , Monday evenings Aug. 1- Aug. 22 from 7-7:45 p.m. We can’t wait to share 4 new books and the yummy treats that go with them!
Guessing Contest Winners
Bonjour Trey Bierstetel, Anna Crites, Luke Schafer and Mason Sova! You guessed the correct amount of “water” collected in the Eiffel Tower bottle from the Seine River. That correct guess was 20 ounces. Tres bien!
Usborne Book Fair Fund Raiser
Thanks to all who purchased items at our first Usborne Book Fair. Thank you also to Brenda Miller, Usborne Representative who shared her quality product and the Lioness Club for their assistance. The library will be able to order $325.00 worth of free books thanks to all involved. We appreciate your continued support of the library.
Friends Group Mint Festival Book Sale
The Friends will have their book sale for Mint Festival in the Library warehouse this year instead of in the barn at the park. The sale will be Friday Aug. 12 from 2:00-8:00 pm, Saturday Aug. 13 from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm and Sunday Aug. 14 from 10:00 am -5:00 pm. Please use the warehouse entrance off the staff parking lot.
Library Closure
The Library will be closed on Saturday August 13th for the Mint Festival. The drop box on the Library porch will be available for returns throughout this closure.
