Special Olympics thanks volunteers
Our 15th annual Special Olympics golf outing was another great fun filled day. The weather cooperated, and we had the largest turn out ever. The money raised will be used to help our area athletes with travel, uniforms, equipment, and practices. We compete in several sports, in several areas of the state throughout the year. We have no paid management team members, it is all done on a volunteer basis.
Thank you to all of the volunteers, who helped make this event so successful. Thank you to all of the golfers, who continue to support our cause year after year, and we hope have fun in doing it. A big thank you goes to all of our sponsors, who’s kindness and donations make our event what it is.
Our major sponsors are: Highland Hills Golf Course and Bruno’s Bar. They have stepped up to the “tee” for the past 15 years to help us.
