At Andy T’s Farms
Ready, set, go… to Andy T’s Farms for a new edition of a familiar community event.
St. Johns Lions and Lioness Club members are passing the baton for their annual Pumpkin Trot to Andy and Sunday Todosciuk. The first ever Andy T’s Farms Pumpkin Trot is set for Sunday, Oct. 9, at the farm market and lawn and garden center located on South BR-127, just south of St. Johns.

Sunday and Andy Todosciuk (left) appreciate the support of Pumpkin Trot sponsors like Pam and John Foster, owners Foster’s Pub and The Wheel Inn in St. Johns.
“The Lions Pumpkin Trot has been a big success in the past and we hope to continue and expand on that tradition,” Sunday says. “We’ve added sponsorships to the race, with all proceeds going to a different local charitable organization each year. The first recipient is Clinton County Special Olympics.”
The format of the Pumpkin Trot remains the same, featuring a variety of race events for all ages and abilities. There’s the Pumpkin Dash for youth aged six and under; 1K run for ages 11 and under; and 5K and 10K races for male and female runners in age divisions from 14 and under through 65 and older.
Pre-registration prior to Sept. 30 is $20 for adults, and $15 for high school and younger students. Registration after Sept. 30 through race day is $22 for adults; $15 for high school and younger students; $7 for the 1K run; and $7 for the Pumpkin Dash.
All participants in the youth 1K run and Pumpkin Trot will receive t-shirts, goodie bags, cider and donuts and ribbons. Trophies go to the overall male and female winners and Masters; awards go to the top three finishers in each division.
All participants who pre-register also receive a race t-shirt.
Registration and check-in for all racers is from noon to 1 p.m., Oct. 9. The Pumpkin Dash begins at 12:50, followed by youth 1K dash at 1 p.m.; 5K and 10K races begin at 1:30.
Racers should be aware that the race route includes both paved and unpaved surfaces. Portions of the 5K and 10K course include unpaved pathways and trails in fields adjacent to Andy T’s Farms.
