With a Personalized Ornament
A pair of special beading classes at the Arts Council’s Gallery Nov. 10 and 16 will provide beaders with an opening to the upcoming holiday season in the form of a personalized Christmas tree ornament.
According to instructor Deborah Laverty, registrants to the classes will create a Christmas ornament highlighted with crystals and pearls from an easy to follow pattern. “Little beading experience is required,” explained Ms Laverty, “but students will find the project most gratifying as their construction results in a fantastic holiday ornament.”
Classes are scheduled for Thursday Nov. 10 and Wednesday Nov. 16. Each class will run from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Ms Laverty has conducted beading sessions at the Gallery in recent years and many of her students have expressed interest in these special sessions.
Registration can be completed by calling the Gallery, 989 224-2429 or by contacting Ms Laverty direct, 517 775-0168. The sign up fee is $35.00 which includes necessary supplies, however, there is a minimum age of 14 to register.
