The Staff at Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum are proud to offer exhibits and crafts for young and old alike once again this holiday season.
The theme this year is “Holidays on the Home Front”. The house is decorated with greenery and many wonderful items from the Museum Christmas Collection, while continuing to feature the World War II exhibit in honor of the 70th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Visitors will see decorations from Christmas’ Past and can compare Christmas on the Home Front then and now.
Activities for Saturday, December 3 include:
8 am-3 pm: Festival of Trees; Christmas Craft Show
8-10:30 am: Breakfast with Santa
12-3 pm: Children’s Crafts / Letters to Santa
On Sundays in December craft activities for children will be provided. The crafts are reminiscent of those created in days of old. There are no additional costs to museum visitors to participate in the crafts. Reservations for the craft classes are not required but are recommended.
The Museum receives no City, State, or Federal monies and has always operated solely on donations and with a volunteer staff. Suggested donations are $2.00 adult, $5.00 family.
