Scott Marier and Rick Drabek were sworn in as members of St. Johns Public Schools Board of Education at the Jan. 9 organizational meeting.
It’s the second, four-year term for each trustee, both of whom won reelection bids in the November 2011 general election.

Officers for the current year were also elected at the board meeting. Bill Tennant will serve again as president; Marier and Drabek were elected again as vice president and treasurer, respectively; and Nick Koenigsknecht was reelected as secretary.
Board meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, beginning at 7 p.m. in the board room at the Wilson Center.
