Rare sale on Arts Council’s schedule

June 14 – 22
If you’re into original art works, program your GPS to lead you to downtown St. Johns June 14 where a sale of pieces by area artists will leave you thrilled and your wallet filled.
It’s a special sale planned by Clinton County Arts Council to display an inventory of a wide selection of wall art in all forms that has survived a number of Gallery moves, showings and special events, awaiting adoption by an arts enthusiast and the themes are as diverse as the selection itself.

The two-week happening, called “Liquidation of Wall Art from 30 Year Collection of CCAC”, runs from June 14 to June 22 and will be located in the building recently vacated by the St. Vincent de Paul store, near the Arts Council Gallery. Hours for the sale will be: Thursday and Friday June 14-15, from noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday June 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursday and Friday June 21-22, from noon to 6 p.m.
Additional details regarding this extraordinary event may be obtained by calling the Council, 989 224-2429 or visiting the Gallery at 215 N. Clinton Ave. in St. Johns.
