Another entry in Auxiliary Outing

Avery Vision
The Avery Vision foursome comprised of Dar Kirby, Sheryl Koenigsknecht, Marlene Walling and Betsy Fuller is the most recent registrant in the Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary “Gals Fore Giving” outing set for the Emerald Golf Course Friday, June 29.

Kathie Clock, left, fund raising chair for Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary, recruited a team from Avery Vision Center to play in the Auxiliary’s 5th annual all-women’s golf outing Friday, June 29. Dr. Ed Peters and Dar Kirby, in turn, recruited players for the team.
With only a couple of weeks remaining before the June 22nd sign-up deadline, a few team openings remain, but the Auxiliary committee hosting the event expect a full slate for the all women’s 5th annual golf outing.
Fund raising chair Kathie Clock explained that while some team openings remain, individuals are welcome for assignment to member short teams or for joining other lone players. “Every year so far,” she said, we have had a number of individual players sign up as there are always teams needing players. Schedules change and openings occur, so individuals can always fit in, either on teams or with other singles.”
A team registration is $280.00 and individual sign ups are $70.00 per golfer. For information, contact person is Chery Goff, 989 224-4178 or goffca@yahoo.com.
