Tea Party hosts Town Hall July 10
It’s campaign time once again, and voters will have a chance to vote Tuesday, August 7th in Michigan’s Primary Election.
On the Republican side of the ballot, there are four candidates running for the Michigan legislature for the 93rd District (which includes Clinton County) to be our representative in Lansing. These four candidates (Kevin Kirk, Tom Leonard, Jeremiah Napier, and Michael Trebesh) have been invited to participate in a Town Hall public forum hosted by the Clinton County Tea Party, and all four candidates have accepted.
The open public forum is to be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 at The Divine Mercy Parish located at 400 E. Walker St., St. Johns. We invite all to please come and hear the candidates respond to the topics of the day.
Also on the Republican side of the Primary Election Ballot are three candidates for Clinton County Sheriff. We offered several different days in an attempt to arrange a debate amongst the three (Ryan Cressman, Wayne Kangas, and Steve Lehman) in a public forum, but only one of the candidates responded with a willingness to participate. That candidate was Ryan Cressman.
Once again, please come and attend the 93rd District Candidate Town Hall Forum on Tuesday, July 10 2012 at 7:00 pm at The Divine Mercy Parish.
