Pottery artist featured at CCAC Gallery

Sunday, August 5
There’ll be arts and crafts galore during the Mint Festival, but Sunday August 5, will be a prelude for those particularly interested in art works crafted from the pottery wheel.
That Sunday, pottery artist Jeremy Andersen will be the featured artist at the Clinton County Arts Council Gallery during the monthly open house. Jeremy currently has a number of items on display, but will be adding some specialty items for the day’s showing.
The open house runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and the August gathering is sponsored by Stony Creek Essential Oils.

A grouping of steins is representative of the work of Jeremy Andersen, featured artist at the Gallery Sunday August 5. Mr. Andersen will display many of his pottery items during the monthly open house.
“We are grateful to the folks at Stony Creek,” commented Gallery Director Mike Muehlenbeck, “for sponsoring Jeremy’s appearance and invite all to appreciate his works while enjoying our usual assortment of refreshments.”
The Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. in St. Johns and information regarding these monthly events – and other Council related activities – can be obtained by calling 989 224-2329.
Activities of the Arts Council are made possible through generous sponsorships, such as Al’s Aerial Service, and membership dues and donations. These sources are supplemented by periodic grants from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs which is a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
