Monday November 12
If you have an “in” with the gods of good fortune, you might want to take note of an upcoming occasion that could hold possibilities for that rapport to prove valuable. But you must hurry.
The opening will be Monday November 12 (Veterans’ Day) when Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary will host an excursion to Firekeepers Casino in Battle Creek.
The day-long outing will depart the St. Johns K-Mart parking lot at 9 a.m. in a bus that will accommodate 56 passengers.
Chery Goff, one of the auxilians coordinating the event explained that already 40 seats have been taken and only one bus has been arranged for. She also explained that the $30.00 per person fee for the trip needn’t be paid until the departure date.
Reservations must be made by Monday November 5th.
Of the $30.00, each person receives $20.00 in play money and a $5.00 lunch voucher. Along with those inducements and the prospects for a big strike, a day of camaraderie and fun is planned with a return to St. Johns around 4 p.m.
To register for the trip or for additional information on the outing interested persons may contact Ms. Goff at goffca@yahoo.com or 989 224-4178.
