Historical Society has new publication

Clinton County, Michigan: A history told through postcards
Clinton County, Michigan: A history told through postcards is the title of a new publication by the Clinton County Historical Society. Vintage postcard images, some in color, were used to illustrate the history of the diverse communities of the county.
The 116-page book costs $20 and can be purchased at the Archives of the Clinton Co. Historical Society in the DeWitt Twp. Community Building at 16101 Brook Road, or the Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum, 106 Maple St., St. Johns. An order form is also available at www.dewittlibrary.org/CCHS.
On Nov. 14, 2012, the Paine-Gillam-Scott Museum is sponsoring a book-signing reception at the Museum for the Clinton County Historical Society from 4-7 p.m. The authors, Myrna Van Epps and Wayne Summers, will be present at the reception.
All profits will benefit the Archives of the Clinton County Historical Society. It is hoped the project will promote the discovery, preservation, and/or donation of similar postcards.
