Arts Council Wine Tasting

Timely for Holidays – Friday November 16
With fingers crossed and a hopeful plea for favorable weather, members of the Clinton County Arts Council are preparing for their second wine tasting event at “Cork and Bottle Winery” in DeWitt.
The group’s initial tasting occasion, earlier this year, was threatened by a mid-winter snowstorm that had coordinators on edge until a festive crowd of wine enthusiasts ensured the venture wholly successful.
In an effort to lessen the chances for a weather challenge, the gathering has been moved from February to a Friday November 16 date, just in time to prepare the wine rack for the holiday season.
The evening will begin at 6:30 pm, and sampling of seven wines – along with appetizers and chocolates – will be offered for the ensuing two hours.
Tickets for the experience – which can be purchased at the Gallery – are $15.00 per person, and everyone will depart with a souvenir wine glass.
“We were extremely pleased with our first tasting,” commented Michael Muehlenbeck, Arts Council Director, “and we received many favorable comments on the event and location. The staff at Cork and Bottle was very professional and helpful in describing the varieties offered during the evening. I’m certain the evening will be delightful for all.”
Cork and Bottle Winery is located at the former DeWitt Shopping Mall location, 1161 E. Clark Road, Suite 134.
