Jean M. Dutton
Jean M. Dutton passed away December 4, 2012 at the age of 82. Jean was born July 10, 1930 in Matherton, MI. She was the daughter of Clarence and Geraldine (Ludwick) Bennett. Jean married Eugene Dutton on March 10, 1951 in St. Johns. He preceded her death on June 9, 1999.
Jean is survived by her children, Larry (Rhonda) Dutton of Elwell, MI, Shan Dutton of Maple Rapids, Diana (John) Barrett of Maple Rapids, Chris Dutton of Middleton, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, three sisters, Dorothy (Jerry) Bashore, Edith Marble, Mary (Jack) Babcock, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Bennett, two sisters, Patricia Nemetz, Diana Bennett, one daughter-in-law, Carman Dutton as well as two brothers-in-law, Jr. Nemetz and Milton Marble.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday December 7, 2012 at the Maple Rapids United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at East Plains Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-8 p.m. at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Sparrow Hospice.
The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
