Don Zimmerman and Paul Martis recognized this house. Paul wrote: “The is located at 401 W. Wight St. It belonged to Ed Conley and also Later Robert Walling.”

Barry managed to fool one of our faithful readers. “I believe the house was for kids without a home and Mrs. Cook was in charge at one time. It is in the north end.” she wrote.
Barry says, “It’s 401 Wight St. and used to be owned by the late Bob Walling and his wife. In the back is the carriage house that’s used as a garage today.
“When Bob took me on a tour I think it still had the feeder stalls for the horses.
“Bob used to help out at the PGS Museum and was related to the Perrins and the Palmers. Bob’s middle name was Perrin. He was a toolmaker at Federal-Mogul and he was easy to work with but very fussy. He was one of those guys I could learn from.”
