The Community Springtime Festival run by the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce is changing up the event. In the past the event has been more of a Home and Business Show with many area businesses on hand to talk about their products and services. While the festival will still have many business vendors, a greater emphasis will be on the Craft Show portion and the products the general public can purchase.
Vendors of all types are being recruited for the festival. If you have homemade items or run a home party business, you should look into participating. The cost for a 7′ space where the Chamber provides the table and two chairs is $30. A 10′ space where you provide your own table and chairs is available for $35. Outdoor spaces are also available for $35 with plenty of room for a canopy.
Outside there will also be the popular Touch a Truck where children of all ages can be up close and personal with fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, etc. There will also be crafts for kids inside the building. Festival attendees can register to win prizes, including an XBOX 360.
The Community Springtime Festival will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Clinton County RESA Building at 1013 S US 27 in St. Johns (across from McDonalds).
If you would like an application to participate, call 989-224-7248 or email the Chamber at ccchamber@power-net.net.
