Busy time for Kiwanis youth

April was a busy time for Kiwanis sponsored youth clubs
April was a busy time for Kiwanis sponsored youth clubs – Builders and Aktion – as they joined Military Moms to gather personal supplies for deployed military personnel during the annual “Socks for Solders” campaign. The effort resulted in 35 boxes of necessities which the group recently wrapped, secured and prepared for overseas delivery. To assist the shipment, Kiwanis’ Builders and Aktion clubs donated $330.00 for postage.

Others working the final task in the “socks” effort included, from left, Andy Briggs; Bailey Woodruff; April Mullikin; Kaytlyn, Emilie and Jenna Krish and Allie Eccleton. Builders Club membership is comprised of students from Middle School, while Aktion Club members are adult citizens living with disabilities.
