Riley Elementary
Brownie Troop 30019 and Daisy Troop 30698 at Riley Elementary completed the beautification of the outdoor classroom at Riley Elementary on June 1st.
The girls in the troop worked for 6 hours to complete the project. They planted four different quadrants in the outdoor classroom beds: prairie flowers; herbs; butterfly/birds/bees, and 3 sisters (corn, beans, and squash). The girls also planted hostas along the drive and planted annuals in the flower beds by the school sign.
We would like to thank all of the parents who donated time and plants as well as thank VanAtta’s, Howe’s Greenhouse, Enchanting Farms, St. Johns Florist and Greenhouse, and The Garden Shop.
The troops greatly appreciated the wonderful support from community.
