While Angie Beals holds a batch of tickets, Dean Hartenburg boasts the initial purchase toward a spaghetti dinner hosted by Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary
Who doesn’t enjoy spaghetti?
So, faced with the challenge of meeting a $100,000 pledge in support of the new Sparrow Clinton Hospital Emergency wing, Auxiliary members are planning a spaghetti dinner with hopes that pasta lovers from around the area will respond to the event.
Angie Beals, chair of the fund raiser, explained that while it’s called a spaghetti dinner, many other pasta selections will be offered along with meat, marinara and Alfredo sauces and tempting garlic bread.
The dinner is set for St. Johns’ Big Boy Restaurant, Wednesday Nov. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $12.00 per adult and $8.00 for children 12 and under, with a major portion of both tickets going to the Auxiliary.
“This is but one of several projects we’re planning to help meet the Auxiliary’s commitment to the new emergency wing,” Ms. Beals explained. “Fund raising dinners have great appeal so what better way to begin our campaign?”
Included in the ticket price will be soup, salad and fruit bar, spaghetti noodles, penne noodles, sauces and bread. Excluded are drinks, dessert and gratuity. Take-out will also be available.
Tickets may be purchased from any Auxiliary member or by contacting Angie Beals at 989 224.2266 or aabb6684@gmail.com or Shelley Gunther, 517 303.3277, gunthershelley@gmail.com.
