The Clinton County Senior Center will celebrate their 35th Anniversary in 2014. So, they are planning a year-long celebration at events throughout the year.
The event that will kick off their celebration of 35 years is their annual Chocolate Fantasy (The Sweetest Night in Town). The Chocolate Fantasy is a two hour event featuring everything chocolate. Tickets are $10 each and you come and sample over 25 different chocolate creations, such as chocolate coffee, tarts, tortes, cookies, candy, pies, cakes and much more.
There will be entertainment and chocolate prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. The Chocolate Fantasy will be held on Thursday, February 6 at the Clinton County Senior Center at 201 E Walker Street in St. Johns from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
Additional events being discussed are an Anniversary Ice Cream Social and a Special Euchre Tournament that will award 35 prizes. If you have any questions about any of the 35th Anniversary events or the Senior Center itself, please call 989-224-4257.
The Clinton County Senior Center is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
