This true story of long-held family secrets takes the reader from Depression-era Detroit to Holocaust-plagued Ukraine and many points between as the author explores what happens when lies or omissions become truth. Copies of the book are now available at the library. The book clubs will meet Thursday, January 16. The first session will meet at 12 pm at the library, the second at 7:30 pm at Bruno’s Bar.

The Library will be closed on December 31st and January 1st for the New Year’s Holiday. The Library will also be closed on Monday, January 20, 2013 in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. The drop box on the Library porch will be available for returns throughout these closures.
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
We couldn’t do it without you! Thank you to all the volunteers that helped with games, crafts and refreshments for our 3 holiday programs. A special thanks to Santa for taking time out of his very busy schedule to stop at the library and visit will all the kids.
Thanks also to all who donated mittens, gloves, scarves and hats to our “Mitten Tree”. There were 152 items donated and they were passed on to the Baby Pantry, Basic Needs and the Giving Room. Think of all the warmness out there because of your kindness. The library is very lucky to have volunteers and patrons who share their talents and time with us.
