The honor drew attention from as high an office as the governor of Michigan.
A plaque citing Ms. Wells’ contributions to St. Johns Kiwanis along with the club’s “crucial role in making Saint Johns such a wonderful community” were recognized in the special tribute signed by Gov. Rick Snyder, State Representative Tom Leonard and State Senator Judy K. Emmons.
