The Good Sergeant

In an article that appeared on the Indy, former city manager, Randy Humphrey, was quoted as calling Robert Ott, “The Good Sergeant.”
Bob was a long time St. Johns police officer, and in this photo he’s shown doing what a lot of us remember him doing. He’s also remembered for riding around town on a three-wheel motorcycle.
He’s also remembered for his community work such as the parking lot on Spring Street behind the fire department that is named after him.
Bob passed away January 30, 2006.
